NJTC, Rutger's Energy Institute, Stevens Institute of Technology and Richard Stockton College of New Jersey join together in this symposium which shall seek to improve knowledge and understanding of current environment and energy challenges and the governmental interaction involved to address them.
The symposium will feature examination of the current trends, promising innovations, best practices and practical tools used by partners and other leading organizations involved, including the most recent available research on environment/energy and economic outcomes. These innovations, practices, tools, and applied research will be examined in terms of affordability, sustainability, application potential, and the opportunity for further single or collective action with the support as needed of the Council and its members.
In addition to their seeding role for action and opportunities, participants will discuss challenges of converging the environment, energy, and economic issues for successful implementation of the initiatives. These will be the object of discussions during the symposium and beyond, in the context of the novel frameworks, perspectives, and business, policy and government models offered in presentations.
